Adding One Last Piece

The hardest thing for me about wearing a statement piece or something patterned is that it is so easy to say this is enough and not add anything to the outfit. Although this is great sometimes and one of the beauties of statement pieces, I always try and do something a little extra with my outfits. This lace shirt definitely doesn't need anything extra, but the sparkles from the necklace pulls out the lacy quality and emphasizes the lace in a way that you don't notice without the necklace. Lesson from today? Sometimes Coco is right and you should take off something before leaving the house. But sometimes, that last piece adds the extra punch that an outfit needs to be perfect. XO
