Mixing patterns has always been a favorite trend of mine, but it can be very hard to pull off. The one rule that I always follow is to make sure the colors themselves look good together. Then, even if you have lots of conflicting patterns and designs going on, at least they don't clash. The other good rule to follow, is you have to take the jump. It can be intimidating to wear something busy when general fashion principles tell you to tone it down. But, if you are willing to take the risk, normally it will work out in your favor. How do you mix patterns? Any general principles you always follow? Until next time, XO
