Big Jewels and Cheetah Print

One of my favorite things about being in the working world is being forced to experiment with clothes. Wearing the same dress or skirt over and over again can get so boring and repetitive. So, I always try and mix up my outfits in one way or another.

Skirts are a little easier because you can mix up your top, shoes, and accessories. Changing a statement necklace or other aspect of your outfit can not only change the vibe of an outfit, but can always make it almost unrecognizable. As long as you aren't wearing the same skirt in the same week, this is an easy way to mix up your work outfits.

Dresses can be a little more difficult, especially if they are patterned and recognizable with this one. The key is changing up your accessories. The last time I wore this, it was quite a bit cooler outside so I wore over-the-knee boots and lightened up the look with peach accessories.

Now that it is warmer, I really wanted to lighten up the entire look and emphasize some of the lighter colors instead of the richer tones. Mint and pastels in general are a great way to lighten up an outfit and are one of my favorite color trends to wear in the summer. I also love the cheetah print with this because it is more interesting than just a plain black flat. Until next time, XO
