Hello all! Happy Friday, especially because it is the start of a long weekend! Do you have any fun Labor Day plans? I am actually going to be very social this weekend in addition to my usual weekend schedule of working, blogging, and baking. Although I don't have too much time off, it'll be nice to relax a little bit. I am hoping to get very organized this weekend as it's the start of a new month!
On to my outfit...I think we can all agree that I normally lean towards the more conservative side. The last time I was in Anthroplogie, my friend Laura, who is the stylist there, told me I had to try on this dress. I'm not going to lie, I didn't even notice the cut-out until I already had the dress on. It was one of those days where I was trying on quite a few things and I was in a hurry so I just threw it on and went out to the mirror without paying attention. Sometimes, your mind and insecurities can get in the way of your style and what you are willing to try. Because I didn't think about this dress before hand, all I had to judge it on was how it looked, not my preconceived notions. So, I loved the dress and bought it.
I was a little concerned at first how I was going to make this work in my wardrobe, but it looks just as cute with a black tank top under it and it was perfect for work. Happy Labor Day Weekend! Until next time, XO
